(January 16th, 2017) – Western Sydney Pop-Punk 5-piece Oaks have recently released their debut single “New Year, Old Me,” which originally premiered via Brokenjar’s official Youtube channel. Their keen use of snappy melodic riffs and driving, bouncy percussion stands as a true testament to the band’s influences, such as Knuckle Puck and The Story So Far (as an added bonus, the inclusion fo a comedic ‘BLEGH’ at the end had us rolling). The band had this to say on their official Facebook regarding the release “New Year, Old Me:”

“We present to you our debut single ‘New Year, Old Me’. We’d like to thank everybody who’s supported us to this point, and an enormous thank you to BrokenJar for debuting the video.

We hope you enjoy it!”

You can download Oaks’ “New Year, Old Me” via their Bandcamp page.
