To end your weekend properly, we proudly present to your eyes and ears the exclusive premiere of Cleveland hip-hop outfit Wrecking Red Panda Bears’ “Young Medusa.” The video was filmed in the woods near the Lorain Port Authority in Ohio. The band states that they chose this location to “embrace the natural, scenic environment that was wild and untamed- just like Young Medusa is.”
The single- which marks the first release since their debut Year Of the Red Panda– will be available on all streaming services by the end of the month. In the meantime, you can stream Year Of the Red Panda on all platforms and view the “Young Medusa” music video below!
About Wrecking Crew Red Panda Bears
Wrecking Crew Red Panda Bears is a four-piece band hailing from Northeast Ohio that combines high energy party hip hop /pop, funk, experimental rap, and electronic noises. The band uses these elements to create songs that transcend each genres limitation. WCRPB has been a collective for about two years now and have been booking shows regularly in Northeast Ohio. The band members are Nick “Stick” Robles on bass and electronics, Ralf Nader as Hype Man and Vocals, Ben Robles on drums and Electronics, and Mando Guitarrista on Vocals and Guitars.
WCRPB released their debut EP Year of the Red Panda July 4th, 2016. The crew teamed up with Dave Douglas and his very own “Danger House Studio” in Cleveland to record this project. In Year of the Red Panda the crew shows how easily they finesse through different genres in just six songs. Before the EP, and without having any content online for fans to download or take home, Wrecking Crew Red Panda Bears managed to build a small cult following in Northeast Ohio. When WCRPB gets on stage they do not just play their set, they control the stage in a way that the crowd feels open to become part of the set themselves.
