Going “Crazy:” From Ashes To New Drops New Single + Announces New Album

(February 6th, 2018) – Lancaster, Pennsylvania based rock outfit From Ashes To New have recently released their new single “Crazy,” complete with an accompanying lyric video. The single, which premiered February 1st via Sirius XM Octane, is the first single off of their upcoming LP The Future, which will be released on April 20th via Better Noise Records / Eleven Seven Music. The track simultaneously marks the start of a new chapter for the quartet.

Pretty much anything that could go wrong to try and slow down the process and throw you a curveball happened during the last year since we came off the road, but we came out on the other side,” states Matt Brandyberry “I was in a very down mindframe because of what was happening with the other members leaving and the anxiety made it difficult to write at times, but ultimately I found the right people to come together and we decided we were going to write the best music we possibly could and see where that took us.”

“Crazy” is the first foray into the sophomore album from the revamped edition of the band consisting of Founder/ Rapper/Programmer Matt Brandyberry and Guitarist Lance Dowdle with new additions Vocalist Danny Case and Drummer Mat Madiro. The band has gone through a few changes since they ended their last tour in December 2016.

Such tumult- and the necessary longform, adaptive process it takes to work through such obstacles- is well-documented lyrically in “Crazy.” The track is a hard-rock infused anthem detailing the median points of a catch-22: it is a track for the people feeling caught in the middle of a situation and confused by it all.

Pretty much anything that could go wrong to try and slow down the process and throw you a curveball happened during the last year… But we came out the other side.”

“Crazy” was recorded at Atrium Audio with producers Grant McFarland and Carson Slovak (August Burns Red) and mixed by Josh Wilbur (Korn, Lamb Of God).

About From Ashes To New

Lancaster, Pennsylvania is one of a hundred similar American towns: Suburban boredom, broken families, substance abuse, limited opportunity – this is an environment in which authentic, compelling creativity can thrive, if it’s accompanied by a burning desire, unstoppable drive, and complete lack of any backup plan. Voices fall and rise, yet From Ashes To New, in their ceaseless cultivation, stands amongst a throng of many. From Ashes to New’s message is true to life, raw, and genuine. Their music is a testament to positive inspiration for the people of the world that they, too, can take risks and not settle into an expected life of mediocrity. Yet with major tours with the likes of Hollywood Undead under their belts, and a record deal that puts them among some of the best known commercial rock bands already signed, FATN look set to take their message to a bigger stage than they could ever previously have imagined. Blessed with honesty, integrity, grit, determination and, most vitally, a genuinely devastating arsenal of gut-mangling tunes – From Ashes To New have got all the ingredients to turn your world, and the entire scene, on its head.
