(February 12, 2018) – The mighty metal giants in Extinction A.D. have grit their teeth and ground themselves to the bone to unleash the music video for their new single, “Secret Worlds.” The single, which comes from their upcoming album Decimation Treaty, is a bone-splintering expose and commentary on the lies that we are publicly sold through private transactions. “We collaborated and filmed this video with Anthony Altamura of Nightmare Film Crew after discussing the gap between factual news exposure and what gets mainstream media coverage,” says the band. “Whether we’re acutely aware of it or not, the free press is under attack. The idea of a guerrilla broadcast and the use of archaic technology as a means of spreading modern information was an interesting concept to mess with, as well as trying to capture our live energy in a non-live environment.”

“Secret Worlds” marks the third single and the first music video that the band has released in anticipation of their new album. The single stands as yet another riveting indicator that these metal vets are back once more, this time with an unrelenting and ferocious thrash explosion that culminates in the form of Decimation Treaty. Extinction A.D.’s ‘question-everything’ approach to both lyricism and musicality is what pinpoints their steadfast success and determination in equal measure. Their indisputably raw live energy, coupled with their aggressive power and meticulous precision to classic thrash metal, has elevated them to entirely new levels. The sophomore full length was recorded and mixed by Joe Cincotta (Suffocation, Obituary) and mastered by Brad Boatright (Iron Reagan, Converge, Obituary). Decimation Treaty formally drops this Friday, February 16th, via Good Fight Music and pre-orders are now live.
