(April 16th, 2018) – As if 30 years worth of unrelenting, spitfire musicality already wasn’t enough to satiate the appetite of even the most diehard hardcore fans, the New Orleans overlords in EYEHATEGOD are set to whet our appetites once more with the announcement of two new extensive tours. Embarkment will soon be underway for the tyrannical harcore punk/sludge giants, the first of which will see the band trek across Europe for three weeks starting on April 21st in Moscow. From there, the band intends to hit a brief reprise, during which time they will level the stages at Maryland Deathfest and once more at Hellfest in Clisson, France.

EYEHATEGOD’s expansive touring will soonthereafter pick back up in the following month, following a pseudo-manifest-destiny of nationwide onstage destruction as they take their aggression around North America in a string of US and Canada showdates supporting Black Label Society and Corrosion Of Conformity. Set to commence on July 18th and conclude on August 11th, the journey will wind its way through nearly two dozen cities and includes an appearance at this year’s edition of Heavy Montreal. Such a sizable- seemingly limitless- touring schedule is best phrased as a slew of anniversary shows in direct celebration of EYEHATEGOD’s 30 years in existence, during which time they have presided over a torrential rain of breakneck hardcore punk and redefined sludge metal. Such time has been well spent across their 10-studio-album discography, most notably culminating in their 2014 self-titled release. The record, which was released via Housecore Records, closed EYEHATEGOD’s decade-and-a-half gap since their previous studio album and marked their most successful release to date, landing at #82 on the Billboard Current Album chart, #92 on the Top 200 chart, #26 on the Rock chart, #4 on the Hard Rock chart, and #12 on the Indie chart upon its first week of release.
