Nintendo Switch’s Online Service Includes Cloud Save Backup, Will Cost $20

(May 7th, 2018) – Nintendo has finally announced further details for the upcoming Online Service coming this September to the Nintendo Switch, and boy was it worth the wait! The service features the much requested ability to backup save data for games into the cloud and will have flexible pricing of $4/month, $8/three months, and $20/year for individual memberships. A family membership will be $35/year and will cover up to eight Nintendo Account holders, even on different systems.

Subscribers will also have free access to a compilation of classic NES games that will initially include twenty games, with more added on a regular basis. The first ten announced games are: Balloon Fight, Dr. Mario, Super Mario Bros. 3, Donkey Kong, Ice Climber, The Legend of Zelda, Mario Bros., Soccer, Super Mario Bros., and Tennis. The remaining ten will be announced at a later date.
