(August 9th, 2018) – Ubisoft has confirmed that one of the earliest games announced for the Nintendo Switch, the winter action sports title Steep, has ended development on the port. Here is Ubisoft’s official statement on Steep:
The Steep team is wholly dedicated to supporting the live game, and made the decision to stop Steep development on the Nintendo Switch platform to focus on bringing new live content and challenges to Steep players instead. We’ll have more exciting news about the live game to share soon.
With Fire Emblem: Three Houses releasing next year, Shin Megami Tensei V is seemingly the last title revealed around the Switch’s official unveiling event that is in limbo. This is unsurprising however as Atlus takes their time with their titles to get them to a level fans expect.
